Executive Vice President of Brokerage Operations
Jay Gustafson has been with Echo Global Logistics since March 2013. He served as SVP of Marketplace Solutions from June 2019-November 2021 and has been the Executive Vice President of Marketplace Solutions since December 2021. In this position, Jay leads Echo's digital marketplace and product strategy. He works closely with Echo's carrier and shipper partners, along with Echo team members, to identify areas of opportunity that focus on improved efficiency, increased service, and strengthened partnerships. In addition to Jay's main areas of focus, he brings a deep level of operational knowledge of North American 3PLs. Jay’s professional experience includes 15 years of senior leadership, serving most recently as Senior Vice President of Carrier Operations at Echo from 2013 to 2019. Prior to his time at Echo, Jay served as Director of Operations at OpenMile, which was acquired by Echo in March 2013. A leader with a unique set of skills, experience, and perspective, Jay participates in numerous industry conferences focused on brokerage service and technology. Jay holds a B.S. from Bradley University.
